Andrés Fresneda recogió en la calle, cerca a su casa, una caseta abandonada utilizada anteriormente para vender lotería y planteó junto a Gabriel Zea revivirla para hospedar eventos y acciones.

La estructura, renombrada Caseta de intercambio, es una casa sin techo pero con paredes y una ventana. Junto a Gabriel y Andrés instalamos la caseta en la exposición DDMMAA en espacio Odeón donde sirvió de sede para vender la cerveza de la exposición y llevar a cabo un juego de lanzamiento con las tapas de cada cerveza destapada.

La cerveza es uno de las principales formas de financiación del evento artístico, de un tipo particular de evento, aquel gestionado por sus participantes, no tanto de la retrospectiva institucional. Una cerveza en la exposición relaciona el evento a un bar, cantina, tienda, bailadero, a sentarse en las escaleras a conversar, sin código de vestimenta estricto. El vino en copa y la bebida preparada coctelera son de Exposición silenciosa donde las cosas no se tocan. La institución pomposa no ofrecerá una cerveza en la inauguración, ofrecerá una copa, por las apariencias.

En DDMMAA La cerveza en botella cuesta 5,000. Al comprarla puede lanzar la tapa de su cerveza a un cesto de basura ubicado a cierta distancia, si la logra meter la tapa en esa pila de basura arrumada en una punta del espacio se gana un destapador para abrir otra cerveza. Los destapadores están hechos con palos, puntas y tornillos recolectados por ahí. Hay música y mesas alrededor.

In a Street, near his home, Andrés Fresneda picked up an abandoned lottery stand, something like a small one-person roofless compartment with three walls and a window used to sell lottery. Along with Gabriel Zea they decided to restore it and use it to house actions and events. This structure was renamed Caseta de intercambio, which translates roughly to something like Exchange hut.

Along with Gabriel and Andrés we installed the structure at the exhibition DDMMAA at Espacio Odeón and designated it the space where people could buy beer at the exhibition and use the lid on the bottles to play a game.

Beer is one of the main forms of financing in artistic events, in a specific form of artistic event, that which is organized by its own participants and not so much as one organized by large institutions. A beer at the exhibition couples the event to a bar, canteen, corner store, dancing spot, to sitting down on stairs to chat, no dress code required. A glass of wine and a cocktail are used in exhibitions where low volume is the norm and where things can’t be touched. The institution will not offer a bottle of beer at the inauguration, it will offer a glass, to keep up with appearances.

At DDMMAA a bottle of beer costs 5,000. You can throw the lid of your bottle at a garbage can in the other end of the room, I f you manage to place the lid inside the can you will win a bottle opener that you can use to open up another beer. The bottle openers are made from sticks, screws and discarded materials picked up here and there. There are tables and music all around.
